Agroexpo 2025 Breaks Records with Over 290,000 Visitors: The Most Attended Edition in Its History

Celebrating its 25th edition and 50 years of legacy, the event once again reaffirmed its position as the most important agricultural trade fair in Latin America. Agroexpo is organized by the International Business and Exhibition Center of Bogotá – Corferias, in partnership with the National Union of Colombian Livestock Associations – UNAGA.
Doris Chingate, Agroexpo Project Manager, stated:

The Business Matchmaking Roundtable stood out as one of the key achievements of this edition, surpassing USD 4.1 million in business expectations.

  • More than 600 business meetings
  • 214 exhibitors
  • 44 international buyers from 10 countries

During the event, the following results were achieved:

  • USD 1,408,200 in immediate business deals
  • USD 2,780,349 in projected agreements over the next 12 months

These figures highlight the export potential of Colombia’s agricultural sector and Agroexpo’s role as a key platform for international market expansion.

Animal Welfare and Sanitary Control at the Core of the Event
The Colombian Agricultural Institute (ICA) ensured strict agricultural health and safety throughout the fair, with no risk incidents Servicios al usuario Reported.
At the same time, the District Institute for Animal Protection and Welfare (IDPYBA) conducted continuous inspections to guarantee compliance with the five fundamental principles of animal welfare, ensuring optimal conditions for all animals present at the event.

Livestock auctions organized by Asocebú, UNAGA, and Fedegán delivered strong results:

  • COP 2.479 billion in total sales
  • 163 lots offered

Key highlights included:

  • “La Gran Reserva” – over COP 1 billion in sales
  • Head Animal Auction – nearly COP 700 million
  • UNAGA “Diamonds” Auction – COP 337 million
  • Fedegán “Stars” Auction – COP 442 million

These results reaffirm the strength and growth potential of Colombia’s livestock sector.

A Comprehensive Experience: Tradition, Innovation, and Diversity
Agroexpo 2025 offered a diverse and engaging experience for attendees:

  • Over 250 sheep on display with 27 participating breeders
  • International horses from Switzerland and the Netherlands
  • The “Agroexpo 2025 Colombia Cup” featuring 532 competing entries
